C-Suites Awards slated for June 12

Seven top executives in the Hartford region will be honored at Hartford Business Journal's C-Suite Awards on Tuesday, June 12.

The Hartford Marriott will host the event from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. as the awards honor winners from the for-profit, nonprofit and governmental sectors.

The C-Suite Awards will recognize senior executives who have aided their organization's growth and have demonstrated a commitment to good ethics, effective reporting and involvement in the community.

Winners include: Rohan Freeman, founder and president of Freeman Companies LLC, Hartford Healthcare CEO Elliot Joseph, Kim Hawkins, vice president and chief operating officer of HEDCO Inc. and Fuss & O'Neill COO Kevin Grigg.

Other winners are Scott Roberts, the town of South Windsor's chief information officer and assistant town manager, United Way of Connecticut Inc. CIO Leo Pellerin and Jeffrey Cohen, Chief Marketing Officer for ImageWorks LLC.

The award ceremony features a keynote address from several members of the Commission on Fiscal Stability and Economic Growth, including Jim Smith, non-executive chairman of the board of directors of Webster Financial Corp. and Webster Bank; Cindi Bigelow, president and CEO of family-owned Bigelow Tea; and Bob Patricelli, former CEO & Founder of Women's Health USA.

The winners will also be featured in a special issue of the Hartford Business Journal.
